Import My Products Into My Store In Bulk
Shopster allows you to bulk import your products to your inventory using a basic tab delimited (*.txt) file. If you have lots of inventory to upload, this is a great feature to make use of as uploading products one at a time can turn into a very time consuming activity.
How to Use:
- Under the Inventory heading click on the Import My Products link
- Download the Shopster Sample Product File (TXT)
- Add your products to the file according to Shopster’s Import File Specifications (PDF)
- Submit your file to Shopster by following the directions directly on the Import My Products page.
Note: The purpose of this the import inventory feature is to help you set up your business rather than to allow you to maintain your daily inventory counts. For this reason you are only able to submit one .txt file per week. Keep in mind that your inventory may not immediately display. Due to import volumes it may take several business days for this process to be completed.
Tips & Tricks
- Before uploading your products in file format, ensure that you have already defined your product categories and markup groups (if applicable).
- Do not include product data with a SKU that already exists in your inventory.
- High-quality product data is critical to the success of your business, take your time detailing each product to ensure that you have all critical data present.
