- What is a domain?
- A domain is basically a website address. When you register a domain, you are registering an address on the Internet. When you first sign-up for a store, you are given a sub-domain of Secure2cart like http://example.secure2cart.com, where example is your store. By registering a domain and updating the CNAME Records, you can have your store appear at an address like www.example.com.
- Note: If you have a Free Shopster Account you must first purchase access to this feature before the system will allow you to apply a custom domain name to your store. You can do this by clicking My Account and purchasing the Custom Domain Names add-on for $5.

- Shopster is dedicated to providing the upmost protection to your customers throughout their buying experience. Your cart and the checkout processes are hosted on a secure server to ensure that all personal information remains confidential. It is for this reason that your secure2cart.com domain name will always appear in the URL during checkout process.
