The Edit Template section allows you to easily add or change your logo and color scheme on your store. If you have more advanced design knowledge you can use the Edit Layout and Edit Assets tabs to access the template code for unlimited design flexibility.

How to Use:

  1. Under the Design heading click on the Edit Template link
  2. Within the Edit Settings tab, start by uploading your logo to your storefront. Click the Change Logo button to begin this process.
    • Note: Ensure that the image you are uploading is no large than 480x66 pixels or it will be automatically resized on your storefront.
  3. A new window will open. Click the Browse button
  4. You are now able to browse through your computer's files for the logo you want to upload. Once you've found it, click Open.
    • Note: that the file you upload must be a .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or .png file
  5. In the Find Image window your logo will appear under the Browse Files heading. Click on the image/logo link to complete the upload process.
  6. A thumbnail of your new logo will appear above the Change Logo button
  7. Apply a colour scheme to your template by clicking on the radio button to the left of the colour option you'd like to use.
  8. Click on the Save Settings button.
  9. To test which colour scheme you like best, click the View link (you'll find it in the upper right of the page). Your store will appear in a separate window. Change the template colour, click Save Settings and repeat.

Tips & Tricks

  • It’s very easy to create a logo with one of the free logo makers offered, just remember to only use stock images (we like istock they've got great variety and are quite reasonably priced) or to request permission before using a photo, icon or image you find on the internet. There are legal ramifications to not doing this.
  • The String Template Glossary is a good starting point for advanced designers to gain an understanding into our string template naming conventions.
