Add My Products to the Shopster Network
This section allows you to add your own products to your storefront on an individual basis. The system will guide you through the process. All you need to do is fill in your information where directed.
How to Use:
- Under the Inventory heading click on the Add My Products link
- Begin uploading your product by adding general product details and continuing through the steps as directed. Add in your product name, SKU and URL. Ensure that the show product in storefront radio button is selected if you want to display this product to store visitors. Click Continue
- Specify a short and long description for your product. These will be accessible by your customers when they search for and view products on your storefront. Click Continue to move to the next step or Go Back to access the previous one.
- This page enables you to upload an image for your product and select its product category in your storefront. When adding a product, choose the category most suitable for your customers. Click Continue.
- Select a pricing strategy and enter the inventory level for this product. The Shopster system will automatically adjust your inventory as you make sales. Later you can edit these details on the Manage Inventory page. Click Continue
- Enter the shipping weight of your products in either pounds (lbs) or kilograms (kgs). The weight is used as information by your customers and may be used in calculating the cost of shipment (depending on the shipping rules you have selected). Click Create Product.
Tips & Tricks
- A descriptive URL increases the likelihood that your product will be found by a search engine.
